Ashutosh volunteers his time as an advisor to the Canada India Foundation working alongside highly accomplished Canadians of Indian origin. He is a graduate of Trinity College, University of Toronto (2006) as well as the Rotman School of Management ("Bridge to Business" program, 2006). Currently he works at Accenture Inc. - a global management consulting, technology and outsourcing company. He is a former entrepreneur.

Ashutosh has served as the Director of Projects for the POA Educational Foundation since its inception. The foundation takes initiatives to promote education, nurture entrepreneurship and strengthen civil society governance.  Ashutosh manages a unique initiative (Project Beyshick, fourth year) in the area of Venture Philanthropy working with the office of the Grand Chief of Nishnawbe Aski Nation to nurture entrepreneurship within aboriginal community of Canada. He is a member of the UNICEF Canada's India HIV/ AIDS Campaign ($3 million) initiative, and volunteers his time as Communications Advisor to the Canada India Foundation.

In 2006/2007, Ashutosh was one of the thirty youth selected from around the globe to participate in the prestigious KNOW INDIA PROGRAMME (KIP) organized by the Government of India. The KIP was instituted recently to introduce a few select youth of Indian origin from all over the world to India's polity, economy and social life. Along with his group, he met various dignitaries from private and public sector, as well as national and state governments including President Kalam, traveling though India Deep and Wide.  Ashutosh had the privilege of serving as the leader of this group. Following this program, Ashutosh job-shadowed Ontario's Minister of Small Business and Entrepreneurship -  Hon. Harinder Takhar  - in Bombay, as part of Premier McGunty's 'Business Mission to India' .

Ashutosh is former Head of Trinity College (OT6), the central student position in the leadership structure of College. He served on various committees and boards while in University including the Trinity College Board. He was also the head of his high school in India where he initiated several environmental initiatives still being practiced to date.
