"Change is best brought by impacting policy and
the two institutions that impact policy the most are
the government and universities." It was this thought
that lead him and his like-minded friends to form the
Canada-India foundation, an organization whose primary
mandate is "to become the bridge between India
and Canada so that we can influence the public policy
in each of these countries."
"To influence the Canadian government it was important
to showcase the best of Indian excellence and global
leadership of Indian diaspora, especially at a time
when the whole world was admiring India," says
Mr. Chanchlani. Thus was germinated the idea of the
Global India Award. .

without words!
