Steve Gupta, President & CEO of Easton's Group of Hotels Inc. is a
developer and operator of award winning Hotels throughout Ontario.
Recipient of the Ernst & Young's 2005 Entrepreneur of the Year
Award for Hotels/Real Estate for Ontario. Served as a Distinguished
Judge for Entrepreneur of The Year Awards for Ontario for 2007 and
appointed again for 2008. Recipient of the Indo Canada Chamber of
Commerce Businessman of the Year Award in 2001.
His company received the Pinnacle Award for Regional Hotel Company of the Year in December of 2007 from Hotelier Magazine - complimenting the Pinnacle Award for Company of the Year received in 2000. Speaking engagements include the Ottawa Heart Institute (October 2007), TravelLodge Canadian Conference (November 2007), Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Suppliers Counsel (October 2006), as well as several others.
He currently serves on the Board of the St. Michael's Hospital Foundation, and served on the Board of Centenary Hospital for 12 years. Steve Gupta was Chairman of the Choice Hotels Franchisee Advisory Board for Canada for nine years (1997-2006), and is a member of the Marriott Owners Advisory Committee for Canada. |
