Lajpat Prasher manages a number businesses in Canada, USA, England and India. His primary interest lie in the Telecom industry with emphasis on VOIP Telephony. Laj is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario.
Lajpat was a member of the Board of directors for Canada India Business Council and accompanied Rt. Hon. Jean Chretien on Team Canada mission to India and four other countries in Asia during 1995.
Lajpat came to Canada during Feb 1971 at the age of 19. Laj feels that India gave him the solid background in its culture and traditions. Canada gave him higher education, knowledge and the prosperity needed to survive and compete in the market place and gave him good life; further Laj feels that his association with ISKCON (Hare Krishna) has given him wisdom and the spiritual strength to handle difficult situations of business and life.
