Mr. Varshney, a Chartered Accountant (Fellow of the ICABC), has been involved in raising over $150 million for various venture capital projects around the world. He has been in the venture capital business since 1985 and during this period has been a director and/or officer of many public companies trading on various North American exchanges. He has also been very actively involved in the community and supported various charitable projects for over 25 years. He is currently the Chair of St. Paul's Hospital Foundation, and a director of Canada India Village Aid Association (CIVA), College of Denturists of BC and the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Varshney was also one of the 2006 British Columbia Achievement Award recipients. |
